Luka® can read this book!
小泰的小猫 (xiǎo tài de xiǎo māo) Xiao Tai's Little Cat is a hilarious story from Japanese author Yamamoto about a boy’s friendship with a troubled little cat.
Discover the fun and diversity from this “reverse” Japanese book! This book, like many Japanese books, reads from the back to the front and right to left!
Xiao Tai finds an abandoned cat. Mom agrees to keep the tiny cat and names her 小不点(xiǎo bù diǎn, Little Guy). 小不点 loves to eat. Xiao Tai shares with her half of everything he eats, absolutely everything! But the cat gets bigger and bigger and wants more and more food. 小不点 soon grows into a gigantic cat! The family has to send her to the zoo. She continues to eat a ton at the zoo and becomes the world’s largest cat. As masses of people gather to see the giant celebrity cat, 小不点 spots Xiao Tai in the crowd. How she misses Xiao Tai! She feels homesick and starts to eat less and less. She shrinks into the size of a normal cat. People are not interested to see her in the zoo anymore. She comes home to Xiao Tai and eats a moderate amount of food ever after!
