Like other seek and find books, these Chinese 小企鹅观察力培养 (xiǎo qǐ é guān chá lì péi yǎng) Little Penguin Seek and Find books are fun and engaging for kids even without the text.
What most parents might not know about seek-and-find books is that they actually help children practice skills important for reading! When a child practices finding small differences between images, they are practicing the same skill they will need to distinguish between small visual differences between Chinese characters! So, don't stress if your child is just studying the pictures, they are practicing essential pre-reading skills.
These books, originally published in Japan, are visually striking and just plain fun.
Unlike many other seek and find books, which only include pictures, these adorable books also include engaging stories with simple everyday language so your child can learn some simple phrases while they gleefully seek and find the right penguin.

Five penguin brothers are going shopping. The oldest brother carries a red bag, the second brother carries a blue bag, the third brother carries a yellow bag, the fourth brother carries a green bag, and the baby brother carries a pink bag.
What will each brother buy? Can you spot it? Look really hard and you may find out. But, watch out because there are lots of other look-alike penguins in the store as well!
Five penguin brothers go to the amusement park. Each one wears a different color scarf. What will each of them do? Can you spot it? Watch out for look-alikes!
