For electronics shipped within the continental U.S., we charge a $9-$14 flat fee for shipping & handling except during special promotional periods when shipping may be free.

Luka® can read these books!
Introducing some of our new favorite leveled reader books: 迪士尼学而乐我会自己读(dí shì ní xué ér lè wǒ huì zì jǐ dú) Disney Learning I Can Read Series. This set consists of the second 12 books in a leveled reader series that, in total, introduces 1100 frequent Chinese characters to your child through their favorite Disney friends.
Each level of books is created to build on the previous level's vocabulary, length of sentences and language complexity. The order characters compliments the Chinese language curriculum used in schools in mainland China.
Note: This set does not include any English or Pinyin, but the font is just small enough to be readable by the YouDao Dictionary Pen!
The Disney Learning Level I Can Read Level 1 & 2 12-book set covers the first 100 frequently used Chinese Characters. Level 3 & 4 builds on the first 100 characters covered in levels 1 & 2 and introduces 130 new characters, covering 230 Chinese Characters in total.
The 24 book in Levels 5-8 cover a total of 830 characters.
Before reading a book, children are encouraged to review a page that listed all the Chinese characters that will be covered in the particular book.
The six Level 3 books cover 160 Chinese Characters. 
The Level 4 books cover a total of 230 Chinese characters, including those covered in levels 1-3.
Transliterated names often do not fall into the book's frequent character list, they are printed in smaller fonts underneath a picture to encourage children to focus on the key characters in large font.
At the end of each book, there are three interactive activity pages to help children review the characters learned.
When you child knows just 230 characters, she will be able to read the following 12 books independently!
